Barrier!", Art pen on board 29cm x 60cm approx. 1984
" Sound Barrier!"
A pen drawing depicting the humor between the "jet jocks" and
the Dakota transport pilots in the Air Force.
The sound barrier was no problem to break for Dakota crews even when
standing stationary on the tar mac.

A pen illustration drawn for a T-shirt at the decommissioning of the Avro
Shackleton MR3 from active service in 1984...Affectionately known as the St
Bernard of the sea
she was flown by 35 Squadron and to date has no replacement despite many pleas
made by the Air Force to government.
South Africa has a huge economic zone out to sea. Today our oceans are
still robbed by illegal fishing by foreign trawlers, undetected. We still have
no long range maritime patrol capability since 1984...just comes to show
how long it takes politicians to make up their minds for the good of the people
they serve.
A soldier is but a citizen in uniform...used as a piece on a chess board
In a game for power played by politicians. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
