Advice:
Clothing: Kwazulu Natal has a lovely warm days, so your swimsuit is
a must. Pack comfortable cotton clothing, a sun hat, sunglasses,
sunscreen, camera, comfortable walking shoes and insect repellant.
Kwazulu Natal Climate:
Winter (March - May ) temperatures vary between 11 Celsius at
night to 30 Celsius during the day.
During the rest of the year Kwazulu Natal is hot, temperatures can
reach 40 Celsius and the humidity can get very high.

Driving Advice:
Generally rain pours down in the form of short thunderstorms and
this also cools down the temperature. But don't fret we don't get
tornadoes in South Africa. If you're driving in rain and unfamiliar
with the roads, its best to pull over during a flash thunderstorm as
the road can get very slippery in no time and switch on your main
headlights if you do need to drive in a thunderstorm. Before you
know it the rain would have moved on.
Fog is also around often so use your rental car's fog lights and
slow down if fog is present.
Swimming:
Tourists are advised not to swim in rivers or lakes due to the
presence of crocodiles and hippos. Safe swimming beaches are
marked and you are reminded to swim only between life guard
flags.
During the holiday season the popular beaches along the Kwazulu
Natal coastline are manned by life guards.
